EXTREME
CHAIRLIFT
Welcome to the ultimate thrill ride known to man.
Ask anyone to name the most extreme things a person can do and they will normally reply with the likes of rollercoaster rides and skydiving.
Rollercoasters are fine, but can they operate in the harshest weather conditions on the face of this earth? I once rode the Nemesis in some light drizzle, yes it was scarier than normal but you don't see me boasting about it. They then shut the ride down when the light drizzle became a moderate downpour, it simply couldn't cope!
Sure skydiving is very high from the ground, but you have a parachute and most likely a highly trained bloke attached to you making this "thrill ride" as dangerous as the mosh pit at a Celine Dion concert.
Can you imagine being upto 10,000 feet above sea-level with nothing more than a thin metal pole added to the front of a chair, possibly installed by an Italian engineer, stopping you from hurtling to your death?
Can you imagine temperatures so cold that a Geordie would consider wearing a t-shirt?
Can you imagine the mind blowing confusion caused by snow falling yet the sun being out?
Only one thrill ride meets this incredible criteria: the chairlift - the most fearsome adrenaline filled journey of your life!
